Welcome to Tango5
The purpose of this website is to provide guidance and analysis for family and friends on "stock market timing" and investing in mutual funds using Managed Risk Investing (MRI). Presently there are hundreds of individuals and some money managers, along with my family and friends using the Tango5 system.
Tango5 is a complete trading system with all the development, programming, and rules established for you. With Tango5 you will be trading with a very sophisticated system created by very sophisticated, experienced and market savvy individuals. But it will be easy for you to trade even if you are clueless about how to invest in the stock market.
The Tango5 system will start with 7400 mutual funds and automatically reduce those down to the top 1% of the funds that are performing the "best" now! Then it will tell you when to "buy" "sell" or "hold". Then you will pick the funds you want to buy. The Portfolio Management programs provided, will track your holdings and portfolio equity curve, and tell you when to "sell" individual holdings.
The Tango5 Method is very risk averse. With each step in the process, risk is carefully considered. So you end up with a "risk adjusted" system as we say in the business.
This does take some time and requires computer expertise to set up. You must have the time to set it up, if you don't have the computer expertise then seek out a friend that does have the expertise to help you. Once it is set up it will take very little time to execute and manage.
OK you want to know about performance, after you have been in this business for many years you come to understand that "you" take what the market will give you. There years when the market is "stingy" and will give you very little. Then there are years when the market is very "generous" and will give you a lot. So it is hard to generalize about performance. But I can say, I have been doing this Tango5 type of investing since 1997 and never had a losing year yet. In the "generous" years the market would give me 20-30%. In the "stingy" years the market would give me 8-12%. Over the last 17 years the back test results show 19% annualized Mid Risk levels. Results very by the "risk level" you select.
