Tango5 Sample Portfolio

To better demonstrate the effectiveness of the Tango5 Method of Investing, I have created a brokerage account that operates exclusively by following the Tango5 Method.  Below, you can view the actual trades along with equity chart.

This is my real time account that I am trading to demonstrate how Tango5 works in the "real world". These are actual entries in my portfolio tracker (which creates the equity chart), and any other items to help show how this trading method really works.  Everything is totally revealed and open here.

Initial Investment

I opened this account with $50,000.00 on 08/25/04, and the first trades were entered on 09/09/04.

Equity Curve

On 02/08/08 the holding is CASH. The gain at the close 02/08/08 of the portfolio since inception(09/09/04) is 36.12% (Annualized 9.46%). The gain in CASH since inception is $15,726.06(after deducting all trading costs and fees) on the $50,000.00 initial investment.

Equity Tracking File (TRADE Portfolio file)

The Equity Tracking File can be reviewed in for the detail trades if you wish. It has all the transactions taking place in the brokerage account.

My Broker

The Sample Portfolio account is at Muriel Siebert Brokerage. The other option for low cost is Scottrade, some family accounts are at Scottrade.

So far Muriel Siebert Brokerage has worked out OK.

My main account is at Fidelity, I think Fidelity is the best if you have more money in your brokerage account. It is more expensive but "you get what you pay for" in this case. If you have an acount that is $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 you should be at a discount broker. Or if you just don't want to pay more you should be at a discount broker.
