About Don L. Wilson

My background has been in large corporations and later in small businesses. I am retired now, but before that I considered myself a businessman. I have successfully owned several small businesses. This has helped me immensely in the investment arena, because you take the same kinds of risk and learn you can't win them all in business. You learn how to control your losses and your risk just as you must do with investing.

I have been investing in the financial markets since 1989. Over that period, I have tried many types of investments and found that Managed Risk Investing works best for me.

I started the Tango Method of Managed-Risk Investing effort years ago to teach my grown children how to invest my way - the Tango way. It just developed from there, and now I have many friends, fellow investors, and even  money managers from around the world using this method for investing, and I regularly speak on the topic at conferences around the country.
