TangoETF Background
General
The TangoETF system for trading Stock market ETF’s, will be provided as a fee subscription service. The plan is to keep the present Tango5 web site free of charge, so people who want to do their own work can do it free with Tango5. The TangoETF would be an addition for a fee. The reason for the fee service is to provide longevity to the Tango5 web site. Donations will not support the site long term. If we can get enough subscribers to pay for future development and operating expenses, then the web site and information it provides can outlive the inventor. As it is now I’m a one man band and if something happens to me it would be lights out for the entire web site. Our main goal with this effort is to help people with their investments.
The present Tango5 is fine and works well, we will continue trading it and displaying the Sample Portfolio results. But it has become obvious, that the majority of stock market investors do not want too, or can’t do the work required by Tango5. They just want for someone to provide them an example of when and what to buy and sell. They don’t want the hassle of mutual fund trading, and Tango5 software. And they want to be out of harms way in the bear markets. That’s what TangoETF will give them with no market hedging analysis and the ease of ETF trading.
Daily Email Service
The service will email the subscriber every night. In this email you will get the Sample Portfolio trades (buy this ETF, sell this ETF, etc,) and current positions the Sample Portfolio is holding. The same information will be on the web site for subscribers in case they are unable to get their email delivery or the subscriber is away from their email. In that case you can go to the web site for the status and trades.
We will put out an email if something we feel of significance is happening in the market or something that comes across our desk we think is worthy of sharing. We will not fill your inbox with data about what happened in the market daily, weekly, or monthly since this data is otherwise easily available to you if you want it.
Performance
TangoETF Rotation Trading
TangoETF has been back tested as much as possible but ETF’s have a relatively short data history so it needs more data and testing. The only way to get more data is to wait for the passage of time. The performance is very good for the time available. Below are performance charts for the last 5 years. TangoETF currently has three trading systems to choose from, TangoETF Conservative, TangoETF Moderate, and TangoETF Agressive for the user.
Please note that the Aggressive is very volatile and suitable for only a small perecent of subscribers, so use it with caution. If you have enough capital you could use it for a small percent of your total capital along with Moderate or Conservative and Tango5 mutual funds. That said some subscribers are aggressive so it is available for them to use.
TangoETF Moderate BacktestRed: This is the main product, ETF6X is the TangoETF Moderate rotation system. It has a Total Return of 164%, and Annualized return of 21.48%, and Maximum Drawdown (MDD) of 9.6% for the period of 03/21/2002 to 03/20/07.
